Featured artist: Miriam Pion
Miriam Pion is not only a graphic designer and artist, she is a visual storyteller, weaving whimsical worlds between her corporate studio and her personal canvas. Based in Ottawa, she holds a certificate in design studies and a diploma in graphic design from Algonquin College. By day, she brings ideas to life as a creative designer; by night and on weekends, she paints and illustrates works imbued with imagination, nature, and literature, echoing the words of Georgia O'Keeffe:

Featured artist: Kerry Smart
Kerry is a multimedia artist and craftswoman with a particular fondness for textiles. She plays with colors and textures, working instinctively to create fun, lighthearted, and often whimsical artworks. She knits a lot of socks and lace shawls and has been creating increasingly elaborate cross-stitch embroideries for the past few years.
Recently, she has taken up creating miniature ceramics in a microwave oven. She is very drawn to round and organic shapes in ceramics and takes great pleasure in experimenting with different glaze combinations and raku techniques in tin cans.
Kerry loves helping people get started in a new artistic or craft hobby and is passionate about making art accessible and welcoming to everyone.
